Welcome to Gemini's Dusty Podcast, where we dive into the dynamic world generational conversation with your host, John, the baby boomer, along with Jessica the Millennial, and Joey, the Gen Z. This is State of the Gens. Yeah, last week we had uh The State of the Union by our Prez. Our dictator. I didn't watch it. You didn't watch it? Hell no. You know, I wasn't gonna watch it, but I decided, okay, let's see what this uh Ninkam Poop has to say, and it was pretty much just BS lies, and you know, it's just it's unbelievable how anybody would vote for somebody who's not just that ignorant about the economy and about tariffs and about just everything else and lies to everybody. He actually has supporters, and the worst thing is the Republicans who have gone along with um anything that this guy says. I I don't understand the logic behind the Republicans supporting him.
SPEAKER_04I really have to have something uh like there has to be some sort of grip that you know Trump or his You mean like something he has on him?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Because I just don't get it. It's flat out lies.
SPEAKER_00I know. I mean, it's just unbelievable how people uh first of all, I don't understand how he was elected. I mean, you elect a well ask your sisters. You you you vote for a 34-count felon, um, a suspected pedophile.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, he is.
SPEAKER_00He's all well, I allegedly, I guess. Allegedly, yeah, we can't say he is because Epstein file. Right, he's he's like in the Epstein Files 34, 50 million times, whatever.
SPEAKER_04And his name is mentioned more often in the Epstein Files than Jesus is mentioned in the Bible.
SPEAKER_00That's right, yeah. I heard that. That's right. Oh, by the way, got to give a shout out to our producer, Julia.
SPEAKER_04Julia's birthday.
SPEAKER_00It's her birthday today, and she is taking time off to do her thing, producing to be here today.
SPEAKER_04That's right.
SPEAKER_00Yes, thank you, Julia. Happy birthday.
unknownThank you.
SPEAKER_00Happy birthday.
unknownThank you.
SPEAKER_04She's got a black eye and everything. Right. That's uh birthday black eye.
SPEAKER_00Wow, too bad she can't the camera can't see her. She's behind the scenes. But yeah, she fell a few weeks ago.
SPEAKER_04Behind the scenes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she fell a few weeks ago, and uh This is what she was doing.
SPEAKER_04She was backing that ass up, and then she went tits over tea kettle.
SPEAKER_00So today's episode is called State of the Gens, and we're gonna take a look back at um, I guess key moments of uh the generational um of evolution of our country, the state of the state of the union. You know, obviously we got a bunch of BS last week in the uh in the State of the Union, so we wanted to come up with our own uh little uh state of the gens.
SPEAKER_04There's this um uh video that I saw on Instagram. Joey has also forwarded me some videos. It's like um it's like uh like millennials living through another disaster, and just how like every everything that is happening like has been in our lifetime. And then uh Joey sent me one that was like very dramatic, and it was like this dude in slow motion going, You weren't there, 9-11 happened. What else is he saying? I am 9-11. I am 9-11.
SPEAKER_00Well, every you know, every generation has gone through traumatic things. I mean, the silent generation went through World War II, uh, the baby boomers went through Vietnam, uh, Gen X, uh, probably a little of Vietnam also. And um the Cold War. The Cold No, well, the Cold War is that wasn't really a war, wasn't it? Yeah, it was more of a pretend war. It was more of a pretend war.
SPEAKER_04That was a birthday birth.
SPEAKER_00But um, and the millennials, um, they went through a lot.
SPEAKER_04Everything.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, uh 9-11.
SPEAKER_04You aren't there, I was there.
SPEAKER_00You don't want my life. How old were you, Jess, for 9-11?
SPEAKER_04I was in seventh grade.
SPEAKER_00I do you remember what you were doing 9-11? I do. I well, I was working at a real estate company, and um all of a sudden, like at 8 in the morning, nine in the morning, um, the news went on that uh the buildings were being hit. And so everybody in the office put the TV on, and it was he was at his office back in that ass. And it was and it was nuts. I mean, it really was nuts.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so it's like something I'd like yeah, something well they bring they roll in that big ass TV on that stand.
SPEAKER_00What did they call that? The audio department at school.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, it was like a big box TV sitting on like a roll-y cart, and they bring it in, they turn it on. It's like so fucking traumatic.
SPEAKER_00Well, you went to St. James, right? I sure did. So it was Sister Mother Mary, and she's like walking like two seconds, like uh five miles.
SPEAKER_04No, uh, they're like, how do you turn this TV? How do you turn this square substance on? But yeah, so um, and then they let us out of school early because then everyone thought they were gonna like blow up Chicago, and we were real close to Chicago, and so they let us go home early, and then my mom let me watch at the Okay, everybody scram, believe leave the building. Traumatic.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I d I it was we We had Desert Storm, we had Vietnam, we had a lot of the riots due to prejudice, uh protest.
SPEAKER_00Well, that was in the six you weren't around in the sixties.
SPEAKER_02It was in the seventies. What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah, but that I mean we were like what racial things going on. You were like 10 years old.
SPEAKER_02No, I was not.
SPEAKER_00I was I was I was a baby boomer. I was watching uh I was watching telenovelas with my mom and um you know crying and corazón, el corazón I went uh riots at Humboldt Park against the police, um, because he had shot someone there.
SPEAKER_02I remember writing with my family. No, it was it was bad. I mean, places were on fire, they were flipping cop cars, um, the fire trucks. It was really that was my most traumatic that I witnessed firsthand. I don't know why my family decided to walk to drive over there to see it.
SPEAKER_00Oh my you know, all I was concerned at that time was trying to get on the bozo show. That's all at the bucket, you know, throwing the bucket at the time.
SPEAKER_02Near we lived near there, so they wanted to to see what was happening, and we had family that were living actually where the activity was taking place, so that was pretty traumatic.
SPEAKER_00You you you lived it, yeah. So we were my my childhood is completely different from I I think we were sheltered from like all the stuff that was going on around.
SPEAKER_04We grew up in Glen Allen. We no no no no no no.
SPEAKER_00No, I we grew up in Villa Park, which was it was at that point, Villa Park was one of those cities where they hadn't been introduced to any um Hispanics or anything like that. So we we had a rough time growing up, you know. But um, and we got a lot of discrimination. Even the nuns were were were bad. I mean, they had a golden ruler just for me. When I walked into school every day, they the uh the the mother Mary had a mustache and she had a ruler ready for me. And she was yeah, and she like okay, what that does not surprise me in the very least.
SPEAKER_02Yes, yeah, that took place in 77.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, 77 is when Elvis died.
SPEAKER_02I don't well I looked it up, dude. Congratulations. 77. Okay.
SPEAKER_00So I'm glad you're I was traumatized when Elvis died.
SPEAKER_04I was traumatized when Selena died.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I like Selena, yes. Yeah, see four.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we we all went through such different traumatics. And actually this goes into our next episode I think hit everybody.
SPEAKER_02Well, yeah, 9-11. That was one of the first scariest that hit home.
SPEAKER_00But that's the first time that the actual uh United States United States was attacked. Yes, you know that never in the country um were just all of us are like very loud in my ears. Really? No, I don't I think we're fine. I I feel fine.
SPEAKER_04Is it okay for you?
SPEAKER_00The burp caught me off guard. I think it was that. I think you blew you. Really? Yeah, he wanted to turn it down.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah, it's like all the way up.
SPEAKER_00Right, right. Yeah, see, I've got mine too, and I just turned it down. The levels are really good because the levels are yeah, the levels should be good. And the thing is, yeah, it has to transfer.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so now let's go to Joey because I think his was COVID, right?
SPEAKER_04He was it wasn't he lost his entire junior and senior year of high school. He didn't even walk for high school.
SPEAKER_01Truth. Yeah, that sucked ass. That was terrible. Like, that wasn't really more traumatic. Well, I guess it kind of was, but it was more just like just ass. Like I couldn't go anywhere, I couldn't do anything, I couldn't hang out with anybody. You know, I had I mean I missed out.
SPEAKER_02You had to do Zoom for classes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, fucking sucked. Are you kidding me? I'm I'd so might might as well just not even be there. Um you know, just put a I just put like one of those screen things that I mean, I was present in class, but I would just put like my avatar and take a nap. Just fuck that. No, for real.
SPEAKER_00Don't you think that those uh you know, during the pandemic and uh studying through your computer and not really being in school, you missed out on just about everything. Oh, everything, everything you did. I mean just being in front of your classmates and all that. I I can't even imagine something like that happening when we were going to school.
SPEAKER_04And that's such an important time of uh teenager's life. Like whether or not you want to admit it or not, is like your last years in high school is like so important.
SPEAKER_01Well, it's also when you like kind of like figure yourself out a little bit more.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Right. And you're you know, you're growing up, you're feeling yourself out, you're just thinking about your senior year, man.
SPEAKER_04Just walking through the hallway, and he didn't do he didn't do it.
SPEAKER_00None of that shit.
SPEAKER_04Not his entire senior year.
SPEAKER_00So is that what you introduced to like porn and stuff like that? Like uh today we're that was way before that. We're gonna we're gonna we're gonna study uh the human anatomy, the female human anatomy.
SPEAKER_02How did you graduate?
SPEAKER_01Oh oh well they had a graduation, but I chose not to go.
SPEAKER_04And it was outside for Maria, my and my cousin Maria. Uh so her senior year was I think it was 2020 when she graduated.
SPEAKER_00So you went to hers.
SPEAKER_04I did. We all had you had one you were able to go use one car, and it was a drive-through graduation.
SPEAKER_00It was so bizarre. Oh, you know what? The one I remember is BB's. BB's was outside. It was at uh at the football field. Football field. So it was it was already starting to wind down the pandemic. Uh but yeah, I don't Maria's, yeah, we didn't go to that one.
SPEAKER_04No, no, you mean you drove through? Like you because only you everybody had to be in one car. Like whoever wanted to go had to be in a car, and every student only got one car, and uh you drove through while she was getting like called, and that was it.
SPEAKER_00Did you get a hamburger uh with your uh no?
SPEAKER_04She so she was up in the podium, she had to be masked the whole time.
SPEAKER_00The hamburger gave you your diploma.
SPEAKER_04No, we just yelled out the car and I made like big Hey yo. Like I printed her head out on a huge like board, and then I'd be you meant like this outside the car, and that was it was so yeah, it was bizarre. Wow.
SPEAKER_01Well, I I I sh I just chose not to go because I didn't give a shit.
SPEAKER_02Did anyone rather describe how it went?
SPEAKER_01What? You the graduation um they did, but I I ignored it because I had to. Yeah, Joey didn't have any friends. You didn't have any friends? No, I did.
SPEAKER_00Well it wouldn't even matter if you had friends.
SPEAKER_01No, I did. Yeah, and they're all like, oh, we miss you. I'm like, ah it sucks for you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Well, no, no, no. Didn't you we go to the wedding instead?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but even if the wedding didn't happen, I still wouldn't have gone. Yeah. Well, because I I just I didn't give a shit. I I I didn't I didn't like high school. I didn't like anybody there.
SPEAKER_04I mean and then your last two years you were uh at home.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, and and well and also like just on a grand scale, pretty much most of the people at that school I did not like.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know, I pretended like I did, but I didn't because they sucked. They were really annoying.
SPEAKER_02Was there anything other than 2020 that kind of caught your gym?
SPEAKER_01I mean my childhood, but he's got mad skills. My my my childhood, uh what other events? Um I mean, yeah, there's always been like random things that you know, like in the new, but like the news is always fear-mongering, like, oh you know, every day is something new.
SPEAKER_00Well, it's like today. You know, nowadays, I mean, every time you turn on the news, something like something. It's like 24 hours of something going on.
SPEAKER_01That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_00Especially the buffoon we have in the in the White House. Oh, yeah. I mean, it's it's like something every day, and it's like you you wake up and you hope that you know World War Three hasn't started.
SPEAKER_01For real. Yeah, that's why besides the pandemic, I can't think of anything specific because it's always something every fucking day. That's how it's always been. Right. For real.
SPEAKER_04No, I think that difference is that there is news all the time readily available right on your phone. Right. So, like that to me, don't use that book, you son of a bitch, as a coaster. I got that from my dad for Christmas. Well, now it's a good shit.
SPEAKER_01Well, now it's also a good coaster. You can use it for multiple things. You can use it for multiple things, right?
SPEAKER_04Uh so I think that's a major difference between like the boomer growing up and gener and uh millennial because we have that 24 hours news cycle and it's constantly in your face and it is just constant fear, you know.
SPEAKER_02You had to watch TV in order to find out the news.
SPEAKER_00Did do you guys ever remember a time where your parents well me, but like um, they ever watched the State of the Union and got something out of it. Did do you do you know that if they ever cared anybody that you were around Nah. I just I mean I think we I think I watched it when I was growing up, like maybe one time in my life, you know, like my parents really didn't get into that kind of stuff, and so they never watched it. Uh maybe during the Bill Clinton years, we maybe have watched it.
SPEAKER_04I was gonna say, I think the one time I remember watching it was Obama. Well, I was old enough.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I that was my first vote was Obama.
SPEAKER_00I I went to see Bill Clinton uh in in Chicago. Uh he he was down uh downtown doing a rally, whatever. This is uh before the election.
SPEAKER_04To get his knob sucked.
SPEAKER_00I don't remember seeing Monica Lewinsky kneeling, but it's always possible. Um but yeah, I I went to what?
SPEAKER_02She'd hide under the desk.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's right, or under the podium. But yeah. But uh no, I don't, you know, I went down there and it was crowded. I mean, it was down Daily Plaza or whatever, and it was crowded. I think I was like um that was in the 90s, so I think I might have been like 20, 20 some years old, late 20s. Probably, yeah. Yeah, probably late 20s.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, the only one I remember is the Bill Clinton. I did not have sexual relationships with but yeah, but it was that in the State of the Union, I don't remember. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's the only one I can remember, and maybe it was a replay, but maybe it wasn't like a yeah, because I don't, you know, other than he was brought into he was questioned, and he was a sitting president, and he was questioned about that whole situation. Wasn't he impeached? Oh, I don't understand why this president cannot be questioned about current events because our Supreme Court made it so Right. Our Supreme Court scene has nothing to do with protecting the country, right?
SPEAKER_00So he's not immune. Right. I mean, this is this is the state of the gens. So I think that you know, the way we go about this episode is saying, okay, well, what really works in this government and what doesn't? Right now, I think with the majority of uh the nation, I think that our government doesn't work at all for the people.
SPEAKER_01Oh, absolutely not.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it does not work. I mean, the Supreme Court is in the president's pocket and they're gonna side with him because it's a majority of Republicans. Uh and and I thought it was supposed to be partisan, but it's not. It's Republican majority. Electricity. They picked yeah, they picked them. He picked up, and I think that's so unfair. I think right now there is one branch of government that um exists, and it's basically the executive uh branch. It's the only branch right now that exists. Why have Congress? They're not doing anything, they're not keeping them, keeping them out of war or telling them you can't go to war. They're not they're telling them that you can't do tariffs. They're useless.
SPEAKER_04I mean, why the Supreme Court didn't pull back the tariffs.
SPEAKER_00They did. Okay, they obviously, you know, they they did say something and said, okay, well, that's completely unconstitutional, which it is. Yeah, but this president, and again, I go back to the the the thing is that there is support for this guy who is a criminal. He's a criminal. And how Republicans Trump's gotta have something on the Republicans. That's I because there's no way that these Republicans have given up their soul for this man and not care about the people that they represent because they don't. They care about lining their pockets, they care about um, you know, their own agendas, and that's it. Democrats seem to be the only ones that care, but it even the Democrats are powerless right now.
SPEAKER_04Well, a politician's a politician. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. I did uh tell Joey some good news last week where uh Prince An or sorry, ex-Prince Andrew was arrested in the UK.
SPEAKER_00Right. So, you know, there's a country that's holding somebody accountable for you know something doing little girls.
SPEAKER_04I mean, yeah, it's a worry, but like I just wonder what do other countries think of America? Like, do they all think that we're like white, uh dumbass, redneck, hillbillies, uneducated? Because I really would hate for people to think of me that way.
SPEAKER_00And well, I think our president who represents us has given those countries uh a reason to think that because you know, I mean, look, look at what you got. You've got Christy Noam, who likes to kill dogs and goats, you've got um Bondi who likes to cover up for a pedophile, uh, you got the president who basically does anything he wants, and there's no oversight, no accountability, nothing. The Republicans are just sucking him up dry because they don't care.
SPEAKER_04All they care about is the money.
SPEAKER_00The money, the money, and that's gotta find the money. Right, right. And I mean it's disgusting. I think we are in a state of um chaos. This country is gonna take it's gonna take a long time to get out of this. Yep. I mean, let's assume that the Democrats take back the House and the Senate. It's gonna they're gonna be embroiled in years of subpoenas and and court uh and trying to get him to flood the zone.
SPEAKER_04Flood the zone is what they constantly say.
SPEAKER_00Exactly, yeah. So I mean it's gonna be chaos, and how do you get back to the Obama? Obama years were good. No, I don't care what anybody says. Obama didn't do anything to disrupt the country the way it is right now, even Biden. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04So and Biden was left with COVID, right?
SPEAKER_00He got us out of um out of COVID. He uh started bringing the the uh the economy back, and then all of a sudden Trump took over. And guess what? We got tariffs, the inflation is starting to go up, unemployment's gone up.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's just guess how much my heating bill was this month. Oh my gas bill three hundred and twenty dollars. Wow. Just gas.
SPEAKER_00Just gas.
SPEAKER_04Just gas.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. It I mean, all you have to do is look at the gas today. Uh it went from like 270 last week to 349 a gallon.
SPEAKER_05Yep.
SPEAKER_00That's nuts. Because this idiot wants to throw us into war and now that's the result, you know, and six uh soldiers are dead. So that's that's you know, I hate to be serious today, but uh, you know.
SPEAKER_04I can't even look at the um I can't deep dive into that story right now because it's just gonna like madden me and depress me. I just can't think about like my kids going into a forever war and for some orange idiot's pure personal ego. Right. We were we were talking about how back in the day they had the draft.
SPEAKER_05Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_04He's talking about putting that back in place.
SPEAKER_05Right.
SPEAKER_04And then there's been so many like memes online that's like uh take Byron or whatever.
SPEAKER_00Or Damien as I like to call him.
SPEAKER_04Trump said, oh he's too tall because he's 6'9 and then there they put a picture of a it was like a ex-NBA star who went into the army and he was 7'1.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00Height has nothing to do with bone spurs. Yeah he's going to have bone spurs in his in his neck.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So I'm like he's not going to go. I mean Trump is nothing but a coward. Why wouldn't he, you know, shield his son from something like that. You know what I mean? Cowards live uh cowards are because right now they they don't they're looking they're playing soldiers. They're playing like they're playing with other people's lives that's what they're doing.
SPEAKER_04And they don't risk all about the war movement or whatever.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah board game yeah yeah it's like playing they're playing like real life battleship yeah right exactly what would you do uh what would you change if you could about the current day politics?
SPEAKER_01Well I'd I'd castrate Trump publicly like burned at the stake that evil cunt.
SPEAKER_02But what laws do you think should be put in place burning at the stake? Someone like him ever public executions.
SPEAKER_01He should be burned at the fucking stake. He should be his his genitals should be castrated embroiled and roasted yeah shoved down and then he should be raped by a pack of gorillas and then he should be covered in kerosene and lit the match that fucking cunt that's what I think should happen to that fucking hunt.
SPEAKER_04All that would flame up would be um self-tanner that's okay.
SPEAKER_02Well anything to hear him scream I think anyone who holds a felony record can should not run for president. Agreed.
SPEAKER_00Well I mean 34C felon he was an ad adjudicated all of that from I'm not cutting anything out uh adjudicated rapist I mean uh a suspected pedophile um a racist his father um his grandfather and his father were absolute racist I mean they basically banned black people from uh renting uh in their apartments I mean he doesn't pay his workers he's filed si uh bankruptcy six times how does anybody support this man that's what I don't get he doesn't pay his taxes either and he doesn't pay his taxes right oh and he has uh you know how many baby mamas out there three yeah he's cheated on every one of them and this is the moral precedent that we have that all these Christian I mean most of them do that but they hide it that's the difference they all their bullshit they keep behind the curtain he presents it proudly yeah absolutely right every politician's a scumbag piece of shit the the the difference between him and the other ones is that he presents it let's let's go back um not all of them are bad okay and politicians a politician politician's a politician because they're supposed to be out there telling keep in mind Trump isn't a politician right he's a show host he's a clown that's all he's also a gangster and you know what again he has something on people and obviously he holds some type of power because people support him it's all cult of personality like literally the the the Webster dictionary human form of that because he's not religious he's not no he's the antichrist no he oh he absolutely is I mean I I'm I'm not religious but he had other American presidents yeah we didn't quite you know agree with them but give me back George W.
SPEAKER_01There's both I mean it's I'll much rather have George Yeah we'll we'll take the lie uh weapons of weapons of mass disc uh destruction distraction you know as and as much as I hate tr uh the the orange cunts I I gotta say fuck Reagan nah yeah fuck Reagan no he can get burnt at the stake too shit you know you mean the war on you and your stupid ass wife oh god his wife I just want to fucking wait a minute Nancy Reagan yeah I want to strangle that every time I see it I know but oh thank god I don't hell yeah no you know rest in piss a piss changed a lot of policies that really kind of screwed up yeah think yeah well and also the war on drugs how do you think the war on drugs happened and how you'd like all the incarcerations the war against black people right because it's all that's all they wanted to be black people how do you think like the inner cities got so messed up and how how do you think so many drugs got pushed into there that that didn't just happen from like the snap of fingers. Fuck Reagan you know fuck the that didn't come in from from other you know countries just like for no reason.
SPEAKER_04Oh you mean they didn't come from Venezuela?
SPEAKER_01Well no well no I'm what I'm saying is that that didn't happen no that didn't happen for like for no like that didn't happen from nothing.
SPEAKER_00They happened from the prophet of Reagan's and his cronies well Reagan and even before then um the government was already in like a secret society where they wanted to topple uh other governments uh it's all been about money and drugs absolutely money and drugs I mean what was that movie with uh Harrison Ford Mike Kempf no the one where he he finds out the president is the future fugitive no no no no that's where he he escapes American psycho no that was that was Christian Bale wasn't it Air Force it's not even close no Air Force One no Star Wars no Hans Patriots Patriot Act I don't know you're listing no movies with Pearson Ford yeah right Star Wars well okay well yeah that one but like yeah but the fugitive Debbie does the other one days and six nights no Harrison Ford yeah American psychology story I never understood that coupling she no I mean that you know she she met her uh her end pretty badly she smashed in she was like drunk out of her mind I guess and flew into a house into a house into a house yeah that's really sad I wonder if the house survived it did not I don't think but she left her poor son with a mess yeah I mean yeah that's what that's just so horrible about those stories it's not like I mean the person's gone but like they've left a trail of destruction in mental anguish that's what that's what's gonna happen with uh the Trumping he's gonna leave uh a uh a trail shit stain a shit yeah poop stains yeah he's gonna leave a trail of uh orange spray tan and diarrhea did you see the the new skin rash he's got on I think it's syphilis oh Trump yeah he's got this new rash on his neck and everybody's like those memes yeah it's like it looks like syphilis there's memes out there that show that it's it's something that's growing oh god yeah and although today he's got it all covered up yeah with that turtleneck uh no I don't I don't think he can it's makeup makeup it's bad makeup yeah it's that's stuff he was wearing on his hand and if it's truly like an open rash putting makeup on it is not gonna help it it's gonna make it worse good yeah that's awesome I'm hoping it's skin cancer that'd be awesome no it's too red wouldn't it be purple uses he should get an allergic reaction to it it would suit him justice hey and anything that makes him suffer public execution I'm still the broiling of the bowls I think suffering needs to be included somewhere in there oh absolutely well I mean he is made death would be too quick let him go into um jailin let him go to dead pop I think if the Democrats take over uh they impeach him they convict him and they throw him in jail and let him suffer and rot where where he belongs to me and then he takes jump and then Gnome is next Bondy's next Hexteff he is such an arrogant piece of crap he really he's so rude and he is he doesn't they all are they are they all have this empowerment entitlement right like attitude for uh take Megan Kelly with them oh Megan Kelly is vile bitch yeah also uh Erica Kirk oh yeah yeah oh what a cunt yeah right she is a beauty pageant manipulator right she knows how to work the room because of her pageant days it's already been said yeah she can go suck up I mean she could continue to her turning point stuff but Megan Kelly is is just an ignorant outspoken bitch and someone needs to hurt her. I you know I don't understand where these people I mean they're so filled with racism and hate I I just don't understand it.
SPEAKER_02I I mean well you know she's the one who came out and said that if they were 17 years old was it really rape? Let's ask your daughter I'm like really how ignorant are you?
SPEAKER_00Yeah I mean that's that's about as ignorant as you can get the thing she comes out with you you just want to just punch her in the face she's got a punchable face yeah I I don't know I mean I it just it it's so hard again it's so hard to believe that we have a government that's not working for the people but working for themselves.
SPEAKER_04It's I mean it's not hard to believe but that that's been so unchecked.
SPEAKER_00It it is you know it's so no is no accountability Republicans have basically just pulled down their pants and say just yeah let me let me give it to you you know what I mean it's just I I've never seen anything in my of my life my whole life I've you know I've been involved in you know rallies and politics I was a big supporter of Bernie Sanders Bill Clinton I've done a lot of stuff I've actually gone out and canvassed in in in for politics all right I've never seen anything this um abrasive and uh Republicans who've just laid down have done not given a crap about the people that they represent.
SPEAKER_02I mean my mom was an election judge and I saw what the election judges had to do one to clear the people and to come in to vote but even afterwards the hard work that they had to do whether they were canvassing um just to count the votes to get them in on time to take those boxes and drop them off how secure everything was and here they're gonna question the voting right process. It's like you're just you're just looking for ways to cheat and to take control.
SPEAKER_00That's exactly what the jerry rigging is yeah I mean that's what Republicans do is is is cheat. That's the only way they can stay in power.
SPEAKER_02I mean with Jerry Jerry rigging administration that want to cheat. The other other Republicans didn't really want to rig it.
SPEAKER_00They took it but if if it happened they were okay with it because you know they're they're not gonna say okay no no no no no this one outright is cheating. I I mean it the the whole Dallas look yesterday was the primaries okay um you'll probably hear this next week because that's when this this episode's gonna air but um the primaries were last night and Dallas um was voting the Dallas County was vow voting uh in Texas and they it was chaotic they couldn't find where they were supposed to vote uh the judge one of the uh judges said we're gonna extend the hours and then the the the uh Texas Supreme Court said no no no no that was due to that redistricting that was because of the redistricting that they that they got so it threw everything into chaos and it's because the Republicans only know one thing and that's how to cheat and cheat on their wives cheat on taxes cheat on gerrymander it's the Republicans need to be gone. It's a party that does not exist the way the Reagan uh or the Bush uh Republicans were this uh this party is a cult it's a cult that's meant to destroy the country and it's meant to uh disenfranchise people's votes and people in general I mean the economy sucks under Trump. So I mean you know so much for me going off no everything no I I agree. Oh you guys didn't watch with the State of the Union hell no nock you didn't see when he brought in the Olympic team oh which one the men's yeah oh my God what a fiasco I feel you know what I don't want to I feel bad for the Olympic male men hockey team in a way that made him look so small and so humiliated because Trump used him as a tool for his political gain.
SPEAKER_04Why did they agree to go?
SPEAKER_00Exactly why did they agree to go and not only that did you see the next one is it the same day or I don't know when it was they fed them Big Macs at the White House at the White House they brought in the hockey team and you could see the faces on some of these players like they didn't even have a seat for all of them. No were standing they were standing hey how about some Big Macs and some cold fries but he's making a big ballroom yeah and he's making a big ballroom for I don't know and he couldn't feed the whole a good meal it was just a bottle of water and McDonald's yeah but the the the US hockey women's team they got special treatment from Stanley Tooch who's one of my favorite actors great but he brought them in and said we're gonna treat you to a nice dinner he did took them out to dinner used top chefs and uh had the best wine Chianti he says what's this water crap right yeah there was this whole thing about how like the White House didn't even call the women's team until like a week after they win. Right. And that just shows you the the character of this president he has no compunction women are beneath him. Right yeah literally yeah I mean he does whatever he wants with them when he was younger but I I think from a young man's perspective I mean I mean you make this big accomplishment I mean they had the they hadn't won in forty something years they're just all giddy and excited I I think they just got drawn into oh the president wants right not the family who the president was yeah but you gotta know no no but you know what you gotta know that this guy who's the president is going to use this as a as a photo op as nothing but yeah as nothing as a ploy to to make himself look good and he did he basically used him at the uh State of the Union made you know I don't know if it would have been me I would have been like no way man I'm not am I gonna be involved in this and I would have said goodbye no way the the women did the right thing by rejecting the um uh the invitation I mean they showed more class than the men did the men showed that they're just as vulnerable and um cowardly as the Republicans are today. I mean like I hate to say it but I mean I'm proud of the American hockey team for willing to go but they just let themselves be disrespect disrespected you know so I don't know. Oh but I like the girl who won uh the gold for the skating I haven't seen it yet I want to see it with the boys they won no she won she won yeah the hockey the girls hockey team won I saw that figure skater figure yeah figure skater yeah oh there was one guy um a figure skater who I I guess was gonna be like the the top male whatever and he was gonna do like uh 10 flips oh yeah and he he did it I think right he didn't get one medal and then he was gonna be up again and he just kaboom laid out and he started crying oh no I didn't see any of those I heard about it but you know it was like I felt bad for him but Joey do you like the Olympics do you know what the Olympics are I know what they are yeah my boys are so excited for the World Cup is that the is that soccer or is that like the fitting of the cup of course it's soccer only the number one sport in all of the world but yeah no it's not it is is it really yeah I thought football was American football oh no baseball isn't baseball like no soccer I I'm not I just can't get into soccer I really can't I'll watch I'll watch my grandson's I was gonna say Owen's game was pretty good like I was uh yeah I mean it was pretty heartbreaking because they lost in the last seconds ten seconds of the game it was they lost yeah and they were undefeated the whole season undefeated and they lost by one point one point in the last ten seconds yeah it was yeah that was a good game it really was a really good game it was a really game but I just can't get into soccer I really can't I played soccer when I was in um high school um in in military school uh but um I yeah I just you know a lot of running for me it's a lot of that's yeah it's a Joey do you play a sport I yeah I played sports which one's your favorite baseball was my favorite coop yeah I was kind of I was kind of I I played all over the place primarily catcher but I was all over the the field wherever they needed me yeah it was a good time I told Joey I would totally do like a co-ed softball team that'd be pretty good that'd be really fun yeah because I played softball I was uh primarily catcher too but I'm I miss it it was fun it was really fun I played when I was really young um I was like in my 20s I played soccer downtown or not soccer uh softball it was uh inner no fun yeah it was it was a lot of fun yeah I think I only did it for uh one or two seasons but I also did like uh the uh football like the football downtown in Grant Park the head leagues that's cool that was a lot of fun and then after the games broke your hip yeah well my hip was already broken uh but um after the games uh we'd go uh to the bar and and drink oh yeah it was a lot of fun just like the mo it was like those um sitcoms you know like in the early uh like cheers cheers yeah you play football and then yeah you know you go drinking stuff like that or you'd be drinking at the park and it would be cool so there was uh there's uh uh friends of mine parents uh were we're friends with and they do a softball league but it's all men it's all the dads I was like that is some bullshit oh boy all right so being that this is the state of the union or state of the gens Joey final thoughts final thoughts on where our government is and what you want from our government well um I think the state of our government is total dog shit um I think that all I'm asking for is just for it to not be a monarchy and a cult anymore.
SPEAKER_01Yeah um just to have some sort of normalcy and to be able to like just get a head fucking start because you know I'm I'm trying to become my own person and it's really hard to catch up financially when prices just keep going up. Like I my entire young adult life I've never been able to get a head start because the economy just keeps on getting worse worse and worse and worse and worse. And especially in this state um there's just so much corruption there's just so much you know loop-de-loops you have to do for no reason only just to put more money into the people in charge's pockets and I'm just all I'm asking for is just a little bit more normalcy and also to stop not be so divided um and um you know and also to maybe not have I don't know like a militia on the streets like targeting people. Right. That'd be all that'd be fucking awesome too. So yeah I'm all I'm asking for is just a little bit of normalcy um I'm not you know that that that's it you know just that you know that's it.
SPEAKER_00The words of a Gen Z.
SPEAKER_04How about uh the millennials um I I agree with Joey um I also feel like I can't get a head start I mean I have a two income household and we struggle basically paycheck to paycheck and it's very difficult to have a family and a house and you know get ahead at all. Not to mention I still have fucking student debt that I haven't dealt with. And so um that's just always just there, even though I graduated over 10 years ago.
SPEAKER_00Um I still I still have debt. Believe it or not.
SPEAKER_04Student debt?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Oh gross. Yeah yeah I know there's no hope. No. I mean I mean you've got two kids. What is the future? With what we have going on right now. What is the future? Dog shit. Right. It's total dog shit.
SPEAKER_01Right. It's it's it's miserable. It it it's no quality of life.
SPEAKER_04I have one. I my wish is for my children not to have to go through active shooter drills. How about that?
SPEAKER_00That would be great. Yeah. I mean it's not kindergarten we never went through that when we were kids no it's it's ridiculous.
SPEAKER_01It's ridiculous. No like all like I people talk about it not enough. Like for real like just like actually discussing it. No no it is not normal to hear about a school shooting of any number of casualties or injuries daily. Fuck daily not monthly not once in a blue moon fucking daily it's ridiculous. No. Well no but no but no we should talk about money and ego. But then people you know start complaining about well gun rights. It's like no we're not talking about stripping gun rights. We're talking about regulating it. Why the fuck is this happening?
SPEAKER_00It's and okay screw your gun rights and I'll raise you one more how about just having the ability to live a life right yes and you know what all these shootings that happen the day after it's like oh yeah we have to have gun laws and we have to that goes away because the NRA steps in Republicans step in and no we can't we can't we have our Second Amendment rights. Yeah you do no one's saying that you fucking don't right yeah we just want to regulate it so kids aren't killed and they can't grow up to have normal lives that's all that's all that's all it is and just you know we don't want fifth graders getting shot you know yeah oh kindergartners um kindergartners yep yeah how about those rules and laws were made in 1776 right when they were using muskets I mean give me a fucking look what Trump's using he's using laws from the 1800s to put on tariffs or putting or do all sorts of stuff now to to regulate our our lives yeah well let's bring back the laws of like the 1600s and then have public executions for monarchs that are absolutely decapitations. Well again I like my method or from earlier though yeah a lot of pain and castration how about what's the one where it's brains where they they suck the brains out that's what is that called lobotomy lobotomy I think lobotomy battery pretty walking around no that's the Jeffrey Dahmer isn't it when they he drills a hole in your brain and puts uh yeah but he would he would do like a lobotomy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah really no a lobotomy is they go through your occipital no I thought they go up your nose and they pull the brain out. I thought it was always through your occipital eyeball and then they cut shall yeah no Jeffrey Dahmer burrowed a hole in his victim and what did he put in there it was like I can't remember silly putty Windex or some really fucked up shit yeah yeah he wanted to make a sex zombie oh a what a sex zombie oh my god Jeffrey Dahmer and an good old Milwaukee boy cheese head our neighbors to the north literally cheese head yep so dad what about you what do you hope you know what I am old and I never thought I was gonna see anything like Trump never yeah and you're the old like one of the older oldest ones here.
SPEAKER_01Right yeah but the the He is the oldest I am the old okay you are the oldest one so it is reassuring though because you know I it's like I think I'm going fucking crazy.
SPEAKER_00I know well I know that eventually this will end. I don't know how it's gonna end I don't know the pendulum swings yeah it's gonna end eventually soon it's gonna end here I really fucking hope so his demise will happen eventually um one way or another unless he's a lizard person which is possible he could be an and maybe that's the rash right it's his lizard scales yeah but yeah so I mean I don't I think that our country will recuperate from this but it's gonna take a long yeah it's gonna take decades it's gonna take decades I mean he really fucked he he raped us but you know what yeah and and I think one Republicans need to get a life and need to be stop being scared of an orange orangutan um uh who's a suspected pedophile and grow some balls I mean they need to stand up for the people that they represent because the people are saying no and they're not listening. And with that and with that we'll see you then back that ass up.
